If you haven't heard, ARMA II free was released where anyone can download ARMA II for free and join us in game. We plan on playing just in ARMA II this time around in order to get as many members possible. This means we won't be using ACE and only ACRE for missions.
I'd like to think all of you can bring at least one other friend to come join us and see what we're all about.

Could we at least use ACE? I liked the realism and the immense amount of weapons and vehicles. The AI was also better.

I'd have to agree that I love every aspect of ACE, but that'd mean losing a lot of members who don't own combined ops or OA.

damn. i never even thought of this... i thought it was the same thing as arma 2... fuck. looks like ACE may be within our reach! but our amount of members.... significantly less...

Yep what hunny dear said. We need to stick to a squad size for now and get better and get back to the norm. Training and missions, we shouldn't try to mass expand just yet.

saying that the quality of our members would be less due to the game mods we use is stupid imo. and dont get me wrong, im all for ace, but the more people we have generally means the more fun and potential Ravenwood has.
